You See You

Inspiration comes from so many different avenues, even when you least expect it.

Driving home on a rainy day, windshield wipers going, front defrost on and right in front of me, the vehicle tag starts with “U C U”. Just like that, the thoughts began to flow. Nothing on hand to write on because I’m driving, can only pray to keep the thoughts flowing.

“You See You”.

No matter what comes your way, God makes sure you see yourself through. The most important question I have (even for myself), what’s being seen? The saying ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’, has beauty in everything, large and small. May or may not see it right away, but it’s there.

It’s not often that we take time to see ourselves. We can feel like a ‘square peg’ trying to fit into a ‘round opening’. There’s no way it will fit! Then we go change ourselves or hide. To see yourself as God sees you completes the puzzle. I pray you don’t act like me and get upset when it takes longer than expected. As I said before, it’s all about the journey.

Isaiah 61;3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

With each day, I love seeing myself grow, having ups and downs, figuring out the next step and watching the fruits of my labor. All by God’s grace.
