Excel - Excellence
The moment you realize that you have excelled in something which has caused you a great deal of pain, you celebrate that victory. The moment you realize all the hard work you put into something has been a blessing for others to see. The moment you realize the sacrifice of countless seconds, minutes and hours have placed you in a place of excellence, there’s a praise on the inside.
Showing excellence is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. To show excellence is an absolute top of the line.
While working as a Team Lead for Nurse Case Managers, I had to opportunity to work alongside so many leaders who have excelled in their role, took me under their wing and showed me grace as I learned the ins and outs of the role. Little did I know, this would help guide my footsteps into another career path in Nursing. For anyone contemplating what other roles are available in Nursing, trust me, it’s endless. Don’t settle!
The knowledge, understanding and interpretation of medical insurance policies and workflows these leaders displayed day in and day out were exceptional. There was one who would envision the entire workflow process for every area in Case Management to help guide others to see their roles as opportunities to work smarter and not harder. Please note, I’m not dismissing others, this individual excelled above all and had the ear of upper management for their input. That’s excellence. That’s favor and it may not be fair in someone else’s eyes.
As the journey begins to unfold with what God has laid before you, trust it. Any hint of fear cancels out your faith, so press on! This is where you excel and the celebrate your victory. God will exalt you among men! So in every thing you do, do unto God not man.
II Corinthians 8:7 Therefore, as ye abound in everything, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. (ESV - but as you excel in everything, in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you - see that you excel in this act of grace also)
Be Kept!
